Darren Burgfeld works as a radio personality and digital manager for River Radio in Cape Girardeau. He hosts the Iceburg in the Morning show on Real Rock 99.3 and covers 10a-2p weekdays on 93.9 Mike FM. He also has hosted a twice-weekly Facebook live morning podcast as well as hosting Humans in Tune podcast segments for Mike FM. Off the air, Darren is a musician (performing as trombone for Shades of Soul locally) and strong community advocate, serving on the board for United Way of Southeast Missouri and Levi’s Children’s Charity (Levi’s Adventure Trail). He lives and works in Cape Girardeau, MO and is married to Carrie, the true professional in the relationship. Darren has two kids, Layla and Lawson, who he personally guarantees are better than any other kids you’ve met.
